Tacha Geffrard

Founder of Taste T’s Pastries LLC

Hi, I’m Tacha—but you can call me “T or Puddin.” Baking has always been my happy place, and nothing brings me more joy than seeing people smile after tasting one of my desserts.

My love for the kitchen started early, thanks to my Haitian immigrant parents who both worked in the restaurant industry. When I was in high school, they achieved their American dream and opened our family’s restaurant. My goal? To become their pastry chef.

Though they sold the restaurant before that dream could come true, my passion for baking only grew stronger.

In high school, I fell in love with baking and even helped create a Level 3 Advanced Culinary class at my school—turning my passion into a purpose. I led a team of teen chefs to compete in local culinary tournaments and knew then that this wasn’t just a hobby—it was my calling.

While earning my Bachelor’s in Business from Florida Atlantic University, I continued baking for friends, family, and anyone who needed a little sweetness in their life.

Soon after graduating, I took the leap and launched Taste T’s Pastries—named after my childhood nickname “T.” I always joked, “I put the T in Tasty,” and now, it’s more than a joke—it’s my legacy.
