Taste T’s Pastries offers a home style Southern experience in the Palm Beach County area. Our vision is to grow this family business to a globally recognized brand.

T’S STORY

My name is Tacha and as long as I can remember I've always had a passion for baking and making people smile. 

I was influenced by my two Haitian immigrant parents, who both worked in the restaurant industry most of my life. After working for restaurants for so many years my parents dreamed of opening their very own. 

They were able to save up enough money to achieve the American dream and became business owners. They opened the family restaurant when I was in high school. My dream was to supply the restaurant with delicious pastries. Unfortunately, my dream of becoming the restaurant’s pastry chef never materialized because my parents sold the restaurant before I was able to perfect my recipes.
I’ve always loved cooking like my parents, but high school is where I fell in love with baking.  My high school offered only two levels of culinary courses for students, which were beginner and intermediate. I was so obsessed with the program that I petitioned for the school to create a level three class for students who really had a passion for the Culinary Arts. And it worked! As the leader of this new level Advanced Course I created a master team of teen chefs who would compete in culinary tournaments against other schools.  

Through college, I continued to bake as a hobby for family, friends, and colleagues. Shortly after graduating from Florida Atlantic University with my Bachelors in Business and Marketing, I decided that I wanted to follow in my parents' entrepreneurial footsteps. I officially launched my pastry company Taste T’s Pastries. 

The name Taste T’s Pastries came from my childhood nickname “T”. I would always joke with my family and friends that I put the “T” in “Tasty”. And with my marketing background, and love of “Dad Jokes” the name Taste T’s Pastries was a perfect fit.
